Founded in 1982. Its declared aims and objectives are to promote employment and fight dereliction through reclaiming disused sites and refurbishing redundant buildings, encouraging the small firms sector by providing suitable workspace.
We have been assisting small businesses for 25 years and pride ourselves on the help and support that we provide to tenants. We work with a number of local support agencies who provide invaluable assistance to the region's businesses.
Some of you may remember our caretaker, Theo Blackman who retired from The Argent Centre in May 2010 aged 72. It is with deep sadness and regret that we received a telephone call from Theo Blackman’s wife, with the news that Theo passed away on Friday night, 22nd April whilst in hospital suffering from pneumonia.
